About Nexus

We’re Nexus Property Services, and we’re here to help whenever you need property maintenance or pest control in Invercargill and Southland.

Director Adam Blair started Nexus after he found that he spent much of his spare time with a project or two on the go, such as doing odd maintenance jobs around the house or renovating his own rental properties. He decided to turn that hobby into a career, and Nexus Property Services was born.

At Nexus, we have believed for a long time that the lower house prices in Southland dictated how much (or how well) properties as a whole were maintained.

Since house prices were so much lower than in many regions of the country, we found that many homeowners ignored home maintenance until a major repair was needed.

However, with house prices rising over recent years, the level of maintenance can too. Ultimately, whether you are looking after you own house or managing a rental, the flow-on effect is that the property will hold its value much better and possibly keep a tenant there longer if they are maintained to a high standard.
